2008
Foundation of Gatum
SempiCo Solutions was founded as a telecom company specializing in SMS messaging.
After years in the industry, the founders decided to build their own user-friendly SMS platform, independent from mobile operators.
2010
SMPP protocol integration
The platform was connected to the SMPP v3.4 protocol, which ensured stability and scalability.
From this year Gatum entered the telecom market and began expanding internationally.
2014
CRM system integration
Gatum introduced integration with CRM systems, enabling businesses to better connect messaging operations with their customer management workflows.
2016
HLR and MNP functions
HLR and MNP features were added to the platform, together with large-scale PSP integrations.
The web interface was also optimized for mobile devices, allowing SMS campaigns to be launched directly from smartphones.
2018
Start of international development
A client request for renting the platform led to a new deployment model on third-party servers.
This marked the beginning of Gatum’s international growth, where the platform evolved together with customers to meet modern telecom needs.
